Den overordnede sag mod Bullen familien kører over de første 7 bøger i serien. Hver bog tilføjer nogle nye aktører til historien eller aktører kun tidligere nævnt i tidligere bøger får deres egen bog og egen historie. Det fungerer ret godt, da der for hver bog bliver tilføjet nyt til personerne. Man lærer dem bedre og bedre at kende og forstår mere og mere, hvordan tingene hænger sammen
